With July 1st just around the corner, many drivers of commercial motor vehicles will be required to adhere to the updated Hours of Service final rule that was effective on February 27, 2012.
It is your responsibility to make sure you are aware of any changes to the previous rule. There is a chart on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration website for reference.
On the FMCSA site you can also find the Interstate Truck Driver’s Guide to Hours of Service as well as common questions and answers regarding the HOS final rule.
