All Illinois IFTA taxpayers are now required to apply for their IFTA license and decals and make payments electronically. This became effective October 1, 2012. Beginning January 1, 2013, IFTA Quarterly Returns and payments must be filed electronically. Paper returns will no longer be mailed out or accepted.
Taxpayers will set up an online My Tax Illinois account at mytax.illinois.gov. You can find additional information at tax.illinois.gov.
